Join hundreds of students from across CA to build community, share resources, plan action, attend workshops, and celebrate.
Students from UC’s, CSUs, Community Colleges, Private Universities and high schools are welcome to attend. Convergences are open invents and we encourage everyone with an interest in sustainability to attend, be they student, activist or non-affiliated community members. Attendees will find opportunities to hear inspiring speakers, exchange ideas in workshops, and to celebrate our collective successes.

Hey! So I bought one of my friends ticket because he thought his card didn’t go through. Well it ended up going through so I ended up with an extra ticket. I have a friend that can buy it but how do I change in information so he is registered instead? Help please! Thank you, and WOOOHOOOO so excited!
What accommodations should be made for the rain predicted in the forecast. If you need tarps or a 10×10 tent let me know
Hi there!
Do you folks have a schedule that I can see with tentative times for everything and a list of workshops?
Thank you!

Is there still room available for camping? I have 15 students coming with me from Moorpark College’s environmental club. Also what are the conditions of the camp site? will there be bathrooms. if I could get some information that would be great! thank you
Evan
Hi Evan! There is totally still room for camping! Please have the 15 students register soon, and campsite space will be guaranteed if they check off the box that says they would like to camp. There are port-a-potties at the campsite. Let us know if you have any other questions!
How do we register for free if we are a Cal Poly SLO student?
Register normally and then just don’t do the payment part. You’ll still be registered and we’ll check you off when you get to the event.
Heylo convergence peeps, I’m looking for a few people to carpool with from the SF Bay Area (San Jose specifically) down to San Luis Obispo. We could use the decrepit car I have or yours =). My email is chara.notself -at- gmail.com. Replace -at- with @
Also, I come from a background of a range of interests including social justice, LGBTQ issues, Women’s issues, spirituality, as well as environmental sustainability and I’m very happy to see scholarships available which gives me a hint that there is consideration for affordability and accessibility. Looking forward to this experience!
Workshop proposals are due March 30th!
Hello! I am so excited for this!
When are workshop proposals due?
what is the cost of attending the convergence?
The cost is $20 for Early Bird Registration, which begins on March 12th. After Early Bird Registration, the cost will be $25.
Hey Jules!
The cost of attendance is $20.00 for early bird registration! It will cover your Convergence attendance (which includes inspirational/thought-provoking key note speakers, student-led workshops, and hours of solid networking), several days of bomb, sustainably grown, and lovingly-made meals as well as the cost of your housing. Not bad for a student-organized convergence, eh? Early bird registration will last until March 31st so please register soon!
Cheers,
Zen
