Below are our overall partners. Feel free to see our past and current campaign funders and partners.
We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit project of the Earth Island Institute (EII) which provides governance and financial oversight. In other words, your tax-deductible donation will be used wisely!
We are also a member of the Power Shift Network, a national community of organizations who work with young leaders to fight for climate justice. Members work on diverse campaigns—from fighting toxic tar sands pipelines to building locally-owned renewable energy projects to supporting young people of color to run for office—and they range from small student groups to big national nonprofits and everything in between. Member organizations gain access like grants, coaching and networking.
In 2007, we worked with a national network to launch the Real Food Challenge (RFC) on 300+ campuses nation-wide. Now they are an independent organization. Their goal is to shift $1 billion universities spend to buy from unsustainable industrial farms and junk food towards local/community-based, fair, healthy, less-polluting and humane food.
We also partner with 350, which uses online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions to oppose new polluting coal, oil and gas projects, take money out of companies that are heating up our planet, and build 100% clean energy solutions that work for all. 350’s network extends to 188 countries.
IDEAS provides money for sustainability projects on campuses and in the world that achieve measurable results.
