Spring 2015 Convergence Program
Theme
Our theme for this convergence is Strengthening Connections: Thriving Together.
We are at the intersection of intertwining and complex social, environmental, and economic systems. By understanding how we shape these conditions we can explore new ideas and organizing models that disrupt and replace the status quo. This work will require that we cultivate strong mutualistic relationships with each other to ultimately ensure we collectively thrive and adapt to a changing planet.
Ours is a movement of transition to a lifestyle that frees us from unjust, unsustainable systems. Only by coming together can we build a more sustainable, just world.

whwre should we park for Convergence? How much will parking cost?
Hello! I was wondering when and how I can apply for leading a workshop?
Thanks!
The Workshop app just went live today. See the link above.
Hello, My name is Jay Ryan, I represent the Sustainability Council at Cabrillo College, a chapter of the CSSC. This Friday, we are hoping to submit a Request for Funding to the Interclub Council at Cabrillo, in attempts to get funding for this event. For this, we need a price at which each person’s registration cost would be, and then multiply that by the number we plan to take to the convergence. We are hopeful that you have group discounts available for larger organizations like our school’s club, is this available? We are planning on sending 15-20 students, and we could really benefit for even the slightest discount available, as there is limited and dwindling funds for all clubs at Cabrillo College.
Please get back to me as soon as possible, preferably by Thursday at noon, as that is when we will be making decisions about funding for this convergence.
Thank you, Jay Ryan.
P.S. I’m going to send this to a number of emails, in attempts to get a response by Thursday. Sorry if you get this email twice!
